She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Small (Parrish) and Tommy Kurl Small; her husband Jack; her brother Garry Small; her close friends, Karen Thompson and Donald Thompson; and her siblings, Bobby Gene and Carol Ann.
She is survived by: her children, Kathi Lyons (John Sikorski), Kendall Kite (Terri) of St. Charles and Kody Kite (Cora) of Columbia, Missouri.; her grandchildren, Cory Montgomery, Kelsey Kite, Jessica Kite and Jackson Kite; her great grandchildren, Jackson Montgomery and Jersey Sullivan; her sisters-in-law, Carol Small of Quincy, Debra Schempp of Kirksville and Dianna Spencer (Norman) of Poolsville, Maryland.; and her goddaughter Allison Thompson.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Playle-Rimer-Millard Family Funeral Chapel (2100 E Shepherd Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Playle-Rimer-Millard Funeral Chapel (2100 E Shepherd Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501). A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Park View Memorial Gardens (2100 E Shepherd Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501).
In lieu of flowers since according to mom, "Flowers are for the living", donations are requested to be made to the Faith United Methodist Church 1602 E. Illinois Kirksville, MO 63501.
