He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi B. Tarr and Emma Tarr Sr. (Kirkendahl); his son Levi B. Tarr III; his former wife Elsie Tarr; his daughters, Jessica Rae Anne Capps and Amanda Jo Sandefur Tarr; and his parents-in-law, Glenn and Leora Sandefur.
He is survived by: his wife Tamra Sandefur; his daughters, Elsie Crosby of Suffolk, VA and Kimberley Waddington (Frederick) of Suffolk, VA; his daughter-in-law Christy Simpson of Norfolk, VA; his grandchildren, Arthur Crosby, Ellie Engle, Ian Tarr and Jason Newill; his great grandchild Anastasia Diane Crosby; his brother-in-law Jeffrey Sandefur (Jennifer) of Greentop, MO; his niece Diane Sandefur; his nephew Alexander Sandefur (Kate); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nina Thomas, Audrey Sandefur, Brianne Hart, John Thomas, Ian Sandefur, Ethan Sandefur and Elliott Sandefur.
