It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry James McKim (Kirksville, Missouri), who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry James McKim to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert McKim and Maggie McKim (Harden); his siblings, Mary, Donald, Richard and Jerry McKim; his sister-in-law Mary McKim; and his grandson-in-law Slade Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean McKim (Stewart); his children, Melvin McKim (Angie) of Brashear, Carrie Eggelston (Ronald) of Eagle River and Molly Balliew (Glenn) of Brashear; his grandchildren, Matthew McKim (Chelsey) of Brashear, Michael McKim (Jennifer) of Downing, Danielle Owens (Eggelston) of Palmer, Steven Eggelston of Eagle River, Jacob Balliew (Carolina) of Townsend and Emily Fay (Adam) of Colorado Spring, Colorado.; his sister Connie Kelsey (Larry) of Brashear; and his great grandchildren, Annaleigh, Penelope, Zoe, Waverly Fay, Wyatt Balliew, Sydney Owens, Lillie McKim, Ryker and Kazzmin McKim.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Playle-Rimer-Millard Family Funeral Chapel (2100 E Shepherd Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Sabbath Home Church.
