He is survived by: his wife Carol Frances Saner; his sons, Doug Athon (Debbie) of Kirksville, MO, Darrell Athon (Karen Skinner) of Kirksville, MO and David Athon (Annmarie) of Columbia, MO; his grandchildren, Mike Athon (Tiffany) of Kirksville, MO, Gretchen Tilman (Justin) of Kirksville, MO, Nick Athon of Kirksville, MO, Racheal Mills (Robin), Alyssa Pence (Landon) of Kirksville, MO, Tyler Athon (Taylor) of Columbia, MO and Jacob Athon of Columbia, MO; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Snow (Susie) of Novinger, MO and Virginia Athon of Kirksville, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
