He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelbert M. Troester and Helen Troester (Garth); his former wife Judith Anne Stroeber; his wife Judy; his brother John Troester; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Naomi Stroeber.
He is survived by: his wife Ronda Turner; his daughter Kimberly Moore (John) of Kirksville; his stepchildren, Kendall Turner (Judi) of Clive, IA, Brian Turner (Sharon) of Columbia, MO and Chris Turner (Erin) of St. Charles, MO; his siblings, Terry Troester (Dee) of Sarasota, FL and Ann Riley (Randy) of Kirksville; his sister-in-law Dorothy Troester of Kirksville; his grandchildren, Abby and Anna Moore; and his stepgrandchildren, Ryan, Lori Turner, Alison, Justin Frette, Brennon, Nicole Turner, Landon Turner, Natalie Turner, Megan Turner, Chandler Davis, Lauren and Kaleb Wulff. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
