He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Bowen and Edna Ruth Lindsey; his siblings, Reginald Bowen and Joyce Sherer; his children, Donnie, Ronnie, Johnny Bowen, Jannette Porting and Stacy Freeman; and his grandchildren, Brandon Bowen, Jessica and Kelsey Bowen.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bowen; and his children, James Bowen of Moberly, MO, Terry Bowen of Camdenton, MO, William Scott Bowen of Salsburv, Angela Brock of Moberly, MO, Barbara Henry of Salsbury, MO and Tammy Bowen of Salsbury, MO.
