He was predeceased by: his parents, Lesco Briggs and Alberta Briggs (Decker); his siblings, Lowell "Buster" Briggs, Larry "Wally" Briggs, Jim Briggs and Ruby Vincent; and his wife Bernice Diana Morris.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa; his son-in-law Wayne Butterbrodt of Killeen, TX; his daughters, Raquel Merryman of Grayslake, IL and Victoria; his son-in-law Kyle Boris of Hillsboro, OH; his son Christopher; his daughter-in-law Beth Briggs of O'Fallon, MO; his siblings, Bill Briggs of Kirksville, MO and Cathy Cunningham of Kirksville, MO; his grandchildren, Derek, Keaton, Deegan, Kaden, Lauren, Sydney, Benjamin and Travis; and his great grandchild Kylee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
