He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle S. Yowell and Wilma Marie Yowell (Cremer); and his daughter Robbyn Sue. He is survived by: his wife Carol Rummerfield; his children, Jeff Yowell (Tyia) of Palmyra, MO and Delaine Alejandro (Daniel) of Vacaville, CA; his grandchildren, Heather, Britney, Drake, Koty and Kourtney; his brothers, Larry Yowell of Kirksville and Bobby Yowell (Kristi) of Baton Rouge, LA; his niece Lisa Coy; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Olivia and Claire; his nephew Bryan Yowell (Melissa); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nikki and Brianna; his nephew Kevin Yowell (April); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Keegan, Kyle and Hailey; and his nephews, Tommy Yowell and Stephen Yowell. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers Jimmy wished that donations would be given to St. Jude's, Shriners Childrens Hospital or ATSU/KCOM.
