He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bland; his daughter Kathy Allen (Johnny Harrelson) of Kirksville; his pet Ruby Doo; his granddaughters, Tonya Lee (Aaron) of Raleigh, NC, Vanessa Whittaker Ma'Leah (Hakeem) and Ja'Coby of Columbia; and his sister Helen Starbuck of Austin, TX..
