He is survived by: his wife Lavona Gordon; his sons, J. Mark Scearce of Raleigh, NC, Michael J. Scearce of Jacksonville, IL and Christopher P. Scearce (Tammy) of Kirksville; his grandchildren, Connor J. Scearce and Paden C. Scearce; his siblings, Sam Scearce and Cindy Stephens (Bill) of Jefferson City, MO; his nephews, Bill Scearce, Joe Scearce, Steve Scearce, Jeff Scearce and Gary Scearce; his niece Lynne Wilburn; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Courtney, Stephanie Scearce, Adam and Katie Scearce.
