It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Robert Stober of Kirksville, Missouri, who passed away on March 6, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Franklin and Ida Amon Stober (Gross); his wife Annabel Higgins; his son-in-law James Eitel; his siblings, Sylvia Minnix, Martha Dudly, Hollis, Chick and Wayne Stober; his siblings-in-law, Mary Hatfield, Margaret Snell, Doris Higgins, Gus Snell and George Hatfield Sr.; and his parents-in-law, George and Catherine Higgins.

He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Eitel of Kirksville; his granddaughter Ashlea Sidwell (Jason); his great grandchild Raylea of Queen City, Missouri.; and his brothers-in-law, George Higgins (Carolyn) of Greentop, Harry Higgins of Keokuk and John Higgins of Greentop. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
