He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Franklin and Ida Amon Stober (Gross); his wife Annabel Higgins; his son-in-law James Eitel; his siblings, Sylvia Minnix, Martha Dudly, Hollis, Chick and Wayne Stober; his siblings-in-law, Mary Hatfield, Margaret Snell, Doris Higgins, Gus Snell and George Hatfield Sr.; and his parents-in-law, George and Catherine Higgins.
He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Eitel of Kirksville; his granddaughter Ashlea Sidwell (Jason); his great grandchild Raylea of Queen City, Missouri.; and his brothers-in-law, George Higgins (Carolyn) of Greentop, Harry Higgins of Keokuk and John Higgins of Greentop. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
