He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Glen and Neva Marie Young (Clay); and his siblings, Darold Young, Joe Young and Phyllis Anderwald.
He is survived by: his siblings, Harold (Kathy Young) and Glendetta (Jack Sizemore) of Green Castle, Missouri; his aunt Bernice Loyd of Kirksville; and his sister-in-law Violet Young of Green City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home (2 W 5th St, Green City, MO 63545). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
