He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnett Lyons and Audrea Lyons (Myers); his wife Sandra Potter (Reed); his granddaughters, Leticia and Kaylynn Potter; his sister Ginny Sevits; and his brother-in-law Bill Weekley.
He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Lyons of Kirksville, Jackie Potter of Kirksville, Jamie Potter of Kirksville and Janie Shultz (Donald) of Novinger, MO; his siblings, Bobby Lyons (Diana) of Kirksville and Greta (Lyons); and his brother-in-law Charles Sevits of Novinger, MO. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
