George Franklin Glaspie Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2023, at the age of 87, George Franklin Glaspie of Kirksville, Missouri, born in Greentop, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Glaspie and Dollie Glaspie (Gardner); and his siblings, Patricia Ann, Forrest Glaspie, Dale Glaspie and Wayne Glaspie.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Irene Gray (Liz); his children, Stuart Glaspie of Chicago, IL, Regina Seufert (Gina) of Tillamook, OR, Teresa Glaspie (Tari) of Kirksville, MO and Roberta Glaspie (Bobbi) of Warrensburg, MO; and his sisters, Diana Robinson, Delena Sullivan and Vicki Rummersfield. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several other family members.
Expressions of sympathy in memory of George Glaspie may be made to Hospice of Northeast Missouri or to Jacksonville Assistance League of the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
