He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgie Maurine (Mikel) and Donovan Eldon Wayman. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Funk; his brother Jerry Eugene Wayman; and his nieces and nephews, Mike Wayman (Cathie), Joe Wayman (Margie), Julie Riggs (Kenneth) and Janell Giesenhagen (Paul).

In Lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
