He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Boltz and Lola Boltz (Bergman); and his sister Evelyn Steffen. He is survived by: his wife Celesta Peterson; his daughter Amber Thompson (Aaron) of Goldsboro, NC; his granddaughters, Haylee, Zoey and Audrey; his siblings, Emmett Boltz Jr. of Ft. Madison, IA and Marilyn Middleton of Centralia, MO; and his brother-in-law Kendall Peterson of LaPlata, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to Hamilton Street Baptist Church.
