He is survived by: his fiancée Susan Riddle; his children, Karri Tugwell and Gene Austin Jr.; his grandchildren, Owen and Norah Austin; his brother Bill Austin (Jane); his nieces, Jackie Williams, Billie Jean Austin, Bobbie Jo Peters and Robin Huffman; and his nephew Eddie Huffman.
