We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2023, at the age of 89, Dorothy Maxine Floyd (Kirksville, Missouri), born in Marshalltown, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John William and Mildred Mary Perrin (Karns); her sisters, Doris Carrel and Mary Walker; her siblings-in-law, Darlene Perrin, Virgina Perrin, Robert Walker and Frank Carrel; her nieces, Dorothy Walker (Dottie Ann) and Joan Carrel; and her nephew Thomas Walker.
She is survived by: her husband William Robert Floyd (Bill); her children, Judy Roshau of Redwing, MN, Bruce Floyd of Columbia, MO and William Travis Floyd (Corrine) of Mexico, MO; her brother Clarence Perrin of Marshalltown; her grandchildren, Camey Roshau-Fox of Cannon Falls, MN, Nicole Blake (Jake) of Buffalo, MN, James Roshau (Christina) of Mandan, ND, Kelli Kent (Derek), Jacquelyn Floyd of Columbia, MO, John Floyd (Hope), Felicia, Genevieve, Lila and Luke Floyd of Mexico, MO; her great grandchildren, Delaynee Fox (Jacob), Grace, Rafe Fox of Cannon Falls, MN, Marcus Duerre of Buffalo, MN, Ashtyn Duerre of Minneapolis, MN, Joshua, Kaelyn and Claire Kent of Columbia, MO; her great great grandchild Lyla Kay Duerre of Buffalo, MN; and also Donald Perrin of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Dorothy faithfully attended Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, and in 2020, moved to Mexico, MO and joined the St. Brendan's Catholic Church; unfortunately, due to the pandemic, she did not get to attend as much as she would've liked.
