He is survived by: his wife Carol Gay McElwain; his adoptive children, Ann Marie Ferguson of Kirksville, MO and Shawn Michael McCoy (Misty) of Columbia, MO; his brothers, Dennis McCoy of Pueblo, CO and James McCoy of Aurora, CO; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn LeAnn and Asher James. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
