He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Snowbarger and Edna Snowbarger (West); his wife Leota Brown; his son Darrel James Snowbarger; his siblings, Richard, Charles, Denzel, Virginia Yates and Betty Smith; his siblings-in-law, Ray Smith, Robert Brown, Gladys Snowbarger and Alberta Dotson; and his nephew Mitchell Snowbarger.
He is survived by: his son Jerry Max Snowbarger (Barbara) of Arvada, Colorado.; his daughter-in-law Lori Neely (Ted) of Welches, Oregon.; his grandchildren, Allen Snowbarger (Tracy), Cheri Bates (Chris), Jerry Snowbarger Jr., Teresa Baca, Jacob Snowbarger (Lindsey), Joshua Snowbarger (Kristi), Katie Snowbarger (Adam Clough), James Snowbarger Portland of Oregon, Michael D'Aquisto (Adrianne), Sondra D'Aquisto and Christina Daniels (Tony); his brother-in-law LeRoy (Pauline Brown); and his friend Northtown Café. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, family, and friends.
Upon moving to the Schuyler County Nursing Home and selling his home Donald donated the majority of this creations to the museum at Truman State University where they are used to share the history of rural life with children and others visiting the university.
