He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Sampson and Dosie Ann Clay (Clark); and his wife Anna Potter. He is survived by: his children, Mike Clay (Debbie) of Washington, IL, Barbara Pinkerton (Raymond) of Brashear, MO and Rosalee Rusk (Gale) of Brashear, MO; and his grandchildren, Tina Hines (Mike), Matt Clay, Erin Clay, Rashanea Rusk (Ryan) and Linsey Zuccarini (Chuck). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren.
