He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen West and Alice West (Chrisman); his brothers, Leon West and Chris West; and his nephews, Kevin Wood and Nathan Dunlap.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Jean Haddad (Nick) of Texas, Rhonda Bequette (Larry) of Missouri, Steven West (Shirley) of Missouri and Dan West of Missouri; and his siblings, Dean West (Sharon Foster) of Missouri, Noah West (Diane) of Ohio, Edwin West of Missouri, Leland West (Tammi) of Florida, Carolyn Bragg (James) of Missouri, Marilyn McVay of Missouri, Glenda Flynn (Marvin) of Missouri, Linda Alertsen (Wesley) of Iowa, Sandra Capps (Marvin) of Iowa, Joni Stichter (Gary) of Iowa, Joyce Mason (Mikel) of Missouri, Doris (Soosten) and Sheila West of Missouri. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
