He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lester and Myrtle Olive Turner (Darnell); his siblings, Levena Gregory, Lorena Darnell, Betty Beerbower (Hamilton), Perry Turner, Charles Turner, Thomas Turner, Donald Turner and Chester Turner; and his former wife Carol Blane.
He is survived by: his son Steven Eugene Turner of Kirksville, MO; his grandchildren, Kory Turner and Carlee Nilson; his great grandchildren, Daisy Turner and Maverick Nilson; his siblings, Earl (Phyllis Turner), Roy (Carolyn Turner) and Kathryn Vincent of Queen City, MO; and his sister-in-law Odilia Turner of Kirksville, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was employed for several business's in Kirksville including Updyke Motors, Burdman Auto Parts, and for Milton Armstrong (Armstrong Foundation Co).
