He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Porter and Dorothy Porter (Gray); and his sister Charmaine Porter. He is survived by: his wife Dee. He is also survived by two sisters; three sons and two daughters, two sons-in-law, two daughters-in-law, fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home (1008 W Potter Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Assembly of God Church (2401 S High St, Kirksville, MO 63501).
