He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Johnson and Lois Johnson (Burton); his sons, Richard (Rick) and Randall (Randy); his sister Judy Foss; and his parents-in-law, Roy Laverne and Mary Bragg.
He is survived by: his former wife Margaret McClanahan; his wife Connie Bragg; his granddaughter Bailey Nacy; his great grandchild Carter of Kirksville; his grandsons, Riley Johnson and Brady Johnson of Kansas City; his siblings, John Leon Johnson (Coleene) of Hallsville, Fay Youngblood (Bobby Joe) of Unionville and Nadine Lumsden (Randy) of Kirksville; and his aunt Virginia Johnson of Novinger. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
