He was predeceased by: his parents, Verdis Frank Leavitt and Auralee Vaughn Leavitt; his wife Margery Ann Patton; his siblings-in-law, Carter and Mary Patton; his son-in-law Robert Clawson; and his granddaughter Katie Lynn Clawson.
He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Clawson of Green Castle, Michael Leavitt (Nelly) of Wesley Chapel, Florida., Ramsey of Green Castle, Missouri., Phillip, Debra, Peter, Nicholas and Megan Leavitt; his grandson Max of Tampa, Florida.; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Maye Bennett of Richland, Cartalene Ruddell (Ronald) of LaPlata and Jo Ellen Hays (Eldon) of Kirksville.
Bobby continued volunteering, serving on the RSVP Board and continued to volunteer at the nutrition site, Bobby was a Board member of the NEMO Senior Citizens Service, Inc., and he was also served as member of the Crossing Church in Kirksville.
