He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Harris of Louisville, KY; his siblings, Tim Hanlon, Joe Hughes of Crestwood, KY, Jeff Hughes of Kirksville, MO and Trecia Maynard of Lexington, KY; and his grandsons, Anthony and Johnny Harris. He is also survived by three nieces and two nephews.
