He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Andrew Coy and Arlene Dimmit Coy; his son Charles Michael Coy; his siblings, Eldon Coy, Jimmy Dean Coy and Janet Coy Way; and his siblings-in-law, John Way, Ward Payne, John Auseon, Lloyd Campbell and Mary Lou Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Lenora Ann Nicholas; his sons, Kenneth Andrew (Dawn), Jeffery Alan (Rhonda) and Christopher Brian (Shana); his sister Jeanie Auseon; and his siblings-in-law, Vicki Coy, Jeanne Coy, Arlene Payne and James Author Nicholas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
