He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gonzalo Leal and Judith Leal (Wetter); his daughter Heather Cook (Joshua) of Harrison; his grandchildren, Sawyer Cook and Sofia Cook; and his siblings, Terry Leal, Shawn Leal, Scott Leal, Betty Steffen, Diane Gonzales, Kim Leal and Stephenie Heard.
