With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Hughes in Kirbyville, Missouri, born in Halls, Tennessee, who passed away on December 21, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Zelie McDougle and Amber Duggan Hughes; his brothers, Thomas and Barry Hughes; and his friends, Phillip Farmer, Dale Walters and Buddy Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Pearl Hughes (Pate); his children, Misty Jackson (Erik) and Rocky Hughes (Darla); and his grandchildren, Zoey, Kyra Jackson, Hunter and Harrison Hughes. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Burial will be private. Following the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, no more than 50 people will be allowed to gather inside of Cobb Funeral Home and practice social distancing, keeping a 6-foot distance between one another Face masks are required to enter the building and to be worn at all times.
