He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Nelson and Lillian Nelson (Hall); and his son Erin Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Janet Sue Nelson (Skaggs); his brother Terry Nelson (Margaret); his sister-in-law Sandy Silker; and his nieces and nephews, Karin Schafer, Andrea Mynatt, Noel and Garret Silker. He is also survived by 3 great nephews, and 1 great niece.
