He was predeceased by: his daughter Elizabeth Rose Sargent; his niece Audrey Sargent; and his grandparents, Donna Mathews and Leo Smith. He is survived by: his parents, Russell Sargent and Alison Sargent (Mathews); his wife Melissa Sargent; his children, Matthew Beau Sargent and Emily Belle Sargent; his siblings, Katelyn Sargent (Andrew Lynn) and Kyle Sargent (Amanda); his nieces and nephews, Taytum, Carter, Madison, Penelope and Miley; his in-laws, Francisco and Lupita Valencia; his sister-in-law Brenda Alfarrouh (Rouni); his nieces and nephews, Samantha and Kaser; his sister-in-law Giselle Oliver (Jake); his grandparents, Darold Mathews and Vivian Smith; and also Cillian.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Meyers Funeral Chapel (1600 W Main St, Blue Springs, MO 64015). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
