He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Emmett Brouster, Sr. and Dorothy Marie Brouster (Junker); his son Dale Brouster; and his sisters, Lucille Heitman and Judy Franke.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Holden; his daughter Sarah Sims (Brent); his grandchildren, Kaycee and Allison Sims; and his brother-in-law Barry Holden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Old Auxvasse Nine Mile Presbyterian Church.
