He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Shearin and Doreatha Shearin; his brothers, Dwight Shearin and Billy Shearin; and his nephew Will Shearin.
He is survived by: his spouse Heather Hamilton; his daughters, Laura Shearin and Angie Burrell; his grandchildren, Jacob and Bailey Burrell; and his nieces and nephews, Christy Moss, Ashley Shearin, Tabitha Shearin, Claire Keegan, Angie Palmer, David Palmer, Anthony Bianchina, Michael Bianchina, Nicholas Bianchina and Tommy Palmer.
