It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max LeRoy Hanson of Kimberling City, Missouri, born in Glidden, Iowa, who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Anne Hanson (Simonson) and Wayne Hanson; his sister Debra Hanson; his uncle Dale Hanson; and his aunt Barbara Kennedy (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Leslie Hanson; his children, Bille Lovelace (Wes), Sam Fleming, Shawn Hanson and Racheal Hanson; his siblings, Steven Hanson (Brenda), Susan Hanson (Butch Culp), Marilyn Mueggenberg (Richard), Marcia Jensen (Ken) and Barbara Hanson; and his grandchildren, Arica Lovelace, Alicia Lovelace, Jocelynn Lovelace, Wesley Lovelace, William Lovelace Jr., Jazmyne Lovelace, Prince Lovelace, Pierre Lovelace, Christopher Hanson-Schmidt, Jaxx LeRoy Hanson, Domonic Reign Hanson, Wynter Stormy Skys Hanson, Major James Chamberlyn and Kimbyr Leigh Chamberlyn. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stumpff Funeral Chapel (65 Comfort Ln, Kimberling City, MO 65686). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
