He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Meece and Elva Meece (Baird). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Meece of Kimberling City, MO; his children, James Meece (Catherine) of Foristell, MO and Tracie Ward (Doug) of Spring, TX; his sister Tonia Lane (Steve) of Katy, TX; and his grandchildren, Cody Meece, Chad Meece, Josh Marquess, Brian Ward, Brendan Ward, Luke Ward and Emma Ward.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to local American Legion Veteran's Group or Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church.
