He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ruby and Mary Ruby (Kelly); his wife Carol; and his sisters, Catherine and Jeanette.
He is survived by: his children, John Ruby of Ft. Wayne, IN, Jay Ruby of Branson, MO and Joni Ruby of Branson, MO; and his sisters, Dorothy and Nancy. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the Kimberling City Elks Lodge.
