He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Humphreys and Wilma Humphreys (Land); his stepfather Bob Simpson (Elaine); his sister Bennie Smith; his mother-in-law Welma Masters; and his siblings-in-law, James Saule and Beverly Peake.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his son Rick Simpson (Pam) of Springfield, MO; his grandchildren, Hollie Marling (Mike) of Springfield, MO, Jason Dake (Crystal) of Springfield, MO and Emily Worcester (John) of Springfield, MO; and his great grandchildren, Elias, Alisa, Asher, Wyatt, Grayson, Tinley, Zadie and Izzy.
