He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosco Hicks and Inez Hicks (Jenkins); his wife Betty Hicks; his children, Dallas Lee Hicks, II and Virginia Lee Hicks; and his niece Stephanie Gant.
He is survived by: his daughters, Crystol Malchose of St. Joseph, MO, Opal Lasiter (Ron) of Springfield, MO and Shirley Hicks of Springfield, MO; his siblings, Warren Hicks (Terry) of Fair Grove, MO, Donna Martin of Galena, MO, Pauline Hedrick of Galena, MO, Ruby Bowling (Charles) of Crane, MO, Mae Allen (Wayne) of Jenkins, MO and Edna Rahalander of Waterloo, IA; and his grandchildren, Brian Malchose, Stacy Kovac, Tyler Malchose, Joseph Lasiter, Stephen Lasiter, Summera Crim, Cheyanne Hicks, Cortlyn Hicks, Myriah Hicks, Raven Hicks, Dallas Lee Hicks, III, Stephanie Gant, Justin Goben and Candice Gant. He is also survived by twenty two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Compassus, 3044 Shepherd of the Hills Expy.
