He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Laning and Ruth Laning (Terborg); and his brother Steven Laning. He is survived by: his wife Maria Laning; his children, Allison Norton (Laning), Andrew Laning (Delane) and Steven Laning (Whittney); his granddaughters, Savannah, Carmen, Emma and Madeline; and his siblings, Marcia Stoub (John), Pat Meekma (Larry) and David Laning (Kathy). He is also survived by many other friends and extended family.
