He was predeceased by: his parents, William Coots and Lena Coots (Bryant); his wife Virginia Marie Munn; his daughter Diana Marie Quisenberry; and his siblings, Margaret Fore, Roy Coots and Gladys Dietzschold.

He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Coots; and his grandson Randall Quisenberry. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special neighbors.
