She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Warren and Viola Mae Faris (Fogelsong); her siblings, Glenn Arthur Faris and Glenda Page; and her brother-in-law Leonard Craig.
She is survived by: her husband Owen Burris; her sons, Joseph Burris (Kylee) of St. Joseph, MO and Jason Burris (Nicole) of Columbia, MO; her grandson Noah Burris; her sister Carolyn Craig of Keytesville, MO; and her niece Jessie Page (Emily).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Larry's Warriors Foundation.
