With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Brian Smith of Keytesville, Missouri, born in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, who passed away on December 27, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Smith and Jacqueline "Jackie" Smith (Powell); his wife Carol Janine Howard; and his siblings, Crystal Thompson (Doug), Phillip Smith (Tammy) and Charles Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Erica Eckersley (Jason), Kendra Gustin (Darren) and Jordan Smith of Kansas City; his brothers, William "Bill" Smith (Carol), Loren Smith of Monroe and Kevin Smith of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Tyler Eckersley (Sydney Goss), Addyson Eckersley, Ryder Eckersley, Chloe Gustin, Brody Gustin, Lilian Gustin, Jorja Gustin, Bryce Smith, Saydee Smith and Eymma Smith; and his great grandchild Layla Eckersley.
Memorials may be made to Erica Eckersley for a memorial project at Lake Nehai later.
