He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Kenton and Julie Heaney (Clark); his wife Beulah Mae Williams; his children, Robert Heaney and Vicki Williams; and his siblings, Dale, Dean Heaney and Jean Magruder.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey, Christy Heaney of Centralia and Michael Heaney of Keytesville. He is also survived by six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
