He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Friesz and Nettie Friesz (Weiseman); and his brothers, Charles Gail Friesz and Loren Lee Friesz. He is survived by: his wife Treva Illene Arp; his brother Robert "Bob" Friesz (Betty) of Keytesville, MO; and his sisters-in-law, Kessie Friesz and Faye Friesz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
