He is survived by: his wife Susan Dearing of Kennett; his daughters, Dee Dee Dearing of Kennett and Shannon Hinson (Brad) of Macon, Missouri; his grandchildren, Tanya Moore of Warrenton, Travis Moore of Warrenton and Hannah Hinson of Macon; and his siblings, Kathie Dearing of Kennett, Kay Varner (Donnie) of Kennett, Grover Dearing (Terri) of Holcomb and Donald Dearing (Evelyn) of Lake St. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
