He was predeceased by: his mother Lee Dora Hursey. He is survived by: his children, Rashava Shavers of Kennett, Kimberly Hersey of Kennett, Tiffany Myles of Hayti, Missouri, Robert Hersey Jr. (Toshi) of Kennett and Eric Hersey of Pensacola, Florida; and his siblings, Gustavia Maygrant of Duluth, Sylvia Johnson of Homestown, Teresa Hursey of Homestown, Richard Hursey of Eugene and James (Demetria). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
