He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Davis of Washington and Pearlie Mae Davis (Herring); and his wife Audrey Burks. He is survived by: his sons, Bobby Davis (Tina) of Kennett, David Davis of Gideon and Bruce Davis of Kennett, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Molly Pritchard, Natalie Butler, Rebekah Davis, Scott Glennon Davis, Sarah Moody, Audra Davis, Tasha Davis and Nichole Knotts; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Layla, Landon, Ellajay and Crosston.
