He was predeceased by: his parents, James Long and Celia Long (Whittle). He is survived by: his children, Patrick Long (Ellen) of Kennett, Alicia Justice (Robert) of Cabot and Cassie Goldbach (Dan) of Greenbay; and his brothers, Mike Long of Benton and Rocky Long of Blytheville. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Calvary Chapel Church (1401 Ely St, Kennett, MO 63857).
