She was predeceased by: her sons, Bobby Whitehorn, Ralph Whitehorn and Richard Whitehorn; her siblings, James Garrett, Kenneth Garrett, Gene Garrett, Eva Garrett and Maxine Dokes; and her close friend Margaret Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvester Whitehorn of Alton, Tommy Whitehorn of Alton, James Whitehorn of Kennett, David Whitehorn of Louisville, Kentucky, Carolyn Whitehorn of St. Louis, Regina Ayers of Kennett and Teresa Carter of Blytheville, Arkansas; and her siblings, Lee Garrett of Los Angeles, Alphonso Garrett of Portland, Oregon, Minnie Taylor of Mississippi and Rose Garrett of Michigan. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
